In order to build the package, you need to manually download the SDK file from NVIDIA's website (registration required). Place the downloaded file in the PKGBUILD directory and run makepkg.

If you want to use the most recent "Video_Codec_SDK_12.1.14.zip" edit the build files by changing:

pkgver=12.0.16 => pkgver=12.1.14

sha256sums=('996be62e8cf83a6c439f729e2cd7dc01d6f3690222dbf5d936c9c26410a6a05b') => sha256sums=('f0048341c087f2edea2175efd26f6d61bb9a0f57beb577fc6928ef063a0c8772')

Everything else should work as expected

In addition to @dbermond 's comment:

Please verify by reading the SDK's readme file that it fits to the Nvidia graphics driver installed on your system. SDK version 11.1.5, being the latest version, is designated to run with the latest Nvidia drivers only:

Linux: Driver version 470.57.02 or higher

As SDK version 11.0.10 has been superseded by 11.1.5, please update the version numbers in the package / PKGBUILD as well.

@Alkaris what worked for me was:

1) Attempt build once so that it fails but creates the directories

2) Go to https://developer.nvidia.com/ and create a free account and download the file "Video_Codec_SDK_10.0.26.zip"

3) Copy the file to: /var/tmp/pamac-build-{your-user-name}/nvidia-sdk

4) Run the build again and it should complete without errors
