Yes I realize it is not a "replacement per say", but on the repo:

The author says:

"Waveform offers basically all features that spectralizer does and more, which is why spectralizer won't be developed anymore."

That is why I said "replacement", but yes, the project will not really be replaced.

It was not replaced, those plugins are separate project and they don't conflict.

People are free to use one of them or both at the same time.

It seems this project has been replaced by:

I tried to build this waveform plugin, but I had a lot of error I didn't have time to investigate. I'll give it another shot to create an AUR.
