This is a -git package, that means you have to update it! Please do not flag it out of date because of the version number. The version number will automatically increase to the version of the latest commit. If you want to have the stable versions, please install the package obs-studio from [community].

@mattboy9921 no change, even after reboot. Reinstalling v4l2loopback-dkms didn't change anything. After installing mbedtls2 (as you and @linuxmetel mentioned), I got obs running again.

@AUR_user did you try rebooting after clean building? I had the same issue until I rebooted. I also installed mbedtls2 and reinstalled v4l2loopback-dkms in my troubleshooting per a few related threads but I think rebooting was what actually fixed it for me.

Having the same issue as @linuxmetel. I ran a clean build and it succeeded. But attempting to start obs fails with an error window, saying "Failed to create audio streaming encoder (simple output)"

Hey, @Xakurinha32. I'm not having any issues building in a clean chroot. Please try building without an aur helper and/or in a clean chroot. I don't think this package should be flagged.

ffmpeg-obs.so in this package seems to require libmbedcrypto.so.7 in mbedtls2.

@abend luajit is a optional dependency.

luajit needs to be added as a dependency (not only for make) since without it FE tools will not be loaded. I had to manually add this package to make it work. Or at least including it as optional dependency.

Please add these to the dependencies:

  • asio
  • nlohmann-json
  • websocketpp

On my system, OBS didn't compile without them.
