Malstrond: Hm, strange. My local version already contained package(). For some reason the import to AUR4 went wrong. Anyways, I'm replacing this package with the new "ocr-fonts" package that contains both OCRA and OCRB. Please install that instead.

It's the PKGBUILD that is out of date, not the sources. makepkg requires a package()function now, so it doesn't build. Should work fine if you replace build() with package().

In what way is this font out of date? There's only version 0.2 here: http://jaist.dl.sourceforge.jp/tsukurimashou/56948/ Unflagging.

Yes, much better, although ${pkgver} doesn't contain spaces and therefore doesn't need to be quoted. Otherwise, no problem anymore (except that you should still change the AUR category).

You should include an .install file that updates the font cache. E.g., have a look at the install file and PKGBUILD option in ttf-linux-libertine [1]. And you should enclose all instances of $srcdir and $pkgdir within double quotes, to allow for spaces in directory names. And you don't need that `|| return 1` anymore. Also, you should change the build function into a package function and the AUR category to 'fonts'. And optdepend ocra is not around anymore. Sourceforge, does that platform still exist? PKGBUILD updated. Now includes all versions of OCRB*.ttf and OCRB*.otf.
