The URL

https://github.com/OCSInventory-NG/UnixAgent/releases/download/2.4.2/Ocsinventory-Unix-Agent-2.4.2.tar.gz

does not work, it should be

https://github.com/OCSInventory-NG/UnixAgent/releases/download/v2.4.2/Ocsinventory-Unix-Agent-2.4.2.tar.gz

/(v)2.4.2/

Upon further inspection, I found the following dependencies: net-tools (for displaying network information) read-edid (for displaying monitors)

The storage issue was fixed upon upgrading the package to version 2.4.0.

Is someone else having issues with storage and network not showing? My server isn't showing the computer IP Also I think perl-net-snmp should be either a requisite or optional for the program, since it throws error complaining it's not available and turns the module off.

I resolve the problem error in line 19 of Makefile.PL, modifying the PKGBUILD file replace build function to: build() { cd "$srcdir/Ocsinventory-Unix-Agent-$pkgver" sed -i "s/require 'lib\/Ocsinventory\/Agent\/Config.pm';/require '.lib\/Ocsinventory\/Agent\/Config.pm';/g" Makefile.PL perl Makefile.PL make || return 1 rm run-postinst }

Does not work: Can't locate inc/Module/Install.pm in @INC (you may need to install the inc::Module::Install module) (@INC contains: /usr/share/tlpkg /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/share/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib/perl5/core_perl /usr/share/perl5/core_perl) at Makefile.PL line 2. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at Makefile.PL line 2.

Same here.

+2 here on removing the `mkdir /var/run`

TaXules commented on 2015-09-02 10:02 (UTC)

I have an error with a conflict with /var/run already created on the filesystem. Removing the mkdir -p XX/var/run solved it.

You're right, the announcement on the OCS website was misleading. Sorry for the noise. :)

There is no new version for ocsinventory-agent only for the server. The current version of the linux agent is 2.1.1
