Oh yes, plugdev. I think this was a default group some time back and searching the wiki a few packages still like to use it. Either change it to your username after installation of the package, or just create it with groupadd and add your user to it.

Yes, kind of messy. I added scripts to /usr/bin that use the libudev.so.1 -> libudev.so.0 symlink hack since it doesn't use any incompatible functionality.

For Tuscany not detecting the rift, I can't be of much help I'm afraid.
Maybe a simple reboot will solve it. The package does "udevadm control --reload-rules" but I have found that it doesn't alway apply new rules right away even when unplugging and plugging in again. Maybe there's another way.

I'm trying to get this package working with my DK2. However, the config utility just gives me

"error while loading shared libraries: libudev.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

which is true, there's only a libudev.so.1 on a current Arch. Also, the Tuscany demo does not detect any sensor. Looking at the udev rule from the oculus-udev package, it seems to rely on a "plugdev" group which does not exist either.

Any advice from someone who actually has a working setup would be appreciated.
