The "update-desktop-database" binary is provided by desktop-file-utils from the official repos.

Thanks. Added a DLAGENT that bypass this error message.

The "sources" redirect to an https now. And... their SSL certificate doesn't seem to be valid (both curl and wget fail validation). IOW, this package no longer works. I had to download the files manually and edit the PKGBUILD to use the local files (just remove the URL portion, it uses the local files). Then the package installed. May want to let the upstream source know about the SSL issues.

@methril: no problem.

Sorry, I flagged the package as out of date, but is the latest version.

New md5sum. Package updated.

Upstream changed the source tarball without changing version, therefore generating a new md5sum. Thanks for the warning.

Before running you have to update MD5sums. Just move into the extracted folder where PKGBUILD is and run updpkgsums. Maintainer please fix md5sum in the PKGBUILD.
