When you make a vcs-package/git-package you need to use 'SKIP' in the sha256sum as it will otherwise not match when the source changes... which it will do often.. i.e. sha256sums=('SKIP')

There are already a odysseus-ai-git so what you could do is to lock this package on a specific 'commit' until you update the PKGBUILD for a later one. That way you will not get verification errors. There are no releases yet of Odysseus so I don't think it really matter which commit.

It's backing to fail at checking the sha256sum of the tar.gz file:

Just attempted an install on CachyOS as well.

-> Found odysseus-ai.desktop -> Found odysseus-ai.svg ==> Validating source files with sha256sums... odysseus-ai-2026.06.02.f6b0dcb.tar.gz ... FAILED odysseus-ai.desktop ... Passed odysseus-ai.svg ... Passed ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!

Crying shame; I was really looking forward to piping this to an immich server...
