@p90, great, thanks for understanding 👍

@actionless

because I literally tried to compiled the program, saw it did not work, went to look here and only saw a 2024 comment about compilations issues and assumed this was the cause. So yes, I misunderstood and used the word still.

Next time, I will just ignore it.

@alef, btw i was thinking to turn it into github fork, to make patchset more maintainable in the long-term - so if you interesting in maintaining it, there are couple more of similar compiler warnings due to func signatures, which would turn from warnings into errors next year or so - so you could try to fix those in advance

and also it would make it easier contributing new 'personas'/'characters'

@alef, sorry about that, but i'm glad it motivated you for some C archeology 👌😸

You've got to be kidding me! I found this program and package yesterday and just created an account to post a patch suggestion to make this compile and bam it was patched in the meanwhile :o

Anyhow, gcc2025.patch works - the code compiles and works ok! Thanks!

@p90, why you've used word 'still' if you don't have a smallest clue what was broken before? why just randomly providing incorrect information for no reason? that's stupid

p90 commented on 2025-05-06 17:53 (UTC)

Jup, still broken it seems
