Or you could have just used the tag in the git repo

@Scimmia Sorry, not a deb package -- src package http://http.debian.net/debian/pool/main/o/onioncircuits/onioncircuits_0.3.orig.tar.gz

@Scimmia I think it can be fixed without removal: I will use the deb package of Debian sid https://packages.debian.org/sid/onioncircuits

You create a new one, then request that is one be merged into it or deleted. I would suggest deleting, as there's nothing to really merge.

@Scimmia How to rename the package now?

Scimmia commented on 2016-03-07 17:55 (UTC)

That doesn't change the fact that it's a -git package that's named incorrectly and without a pkgver function. Please see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VCS_package_guidelines

@Scimmia Yes, my fault that I have not marked it as alpha. I thought that version number (0.3) will be a lot to say.

Scimmia commented on 2016-03-07 17:47 (UTC)

If you know, why did you do it? The pkgname is wrong and there's no pkgver function, which are required if your intention is to build from HEAD.

@Scimmia I know.

This is building from git HEAD, not the release.
