Where do you find references to 6.0.3 being released? I don't find a changelog either and github still links to 6.0.2: https://github.com/ROCm/ROCm/releases
Definitely right to be more cautious. Thanks for your work luciddream.

I just noticed 6.0.3 has been recently released. I can't flag the package because it was already flagged a week before. I will try to make a release as soon as possible (hopefully tonight)
edit: However, no changelog is provided so I don't promise anything. The xz fiasco made me 100x more paranoid about everything.
Hi @demurgos, thanks for the feedback. It's good to know it's working with more recent GPUs.
I have an AMD Radeon 7900XTX, and this package allowed me to use it for Stable Diffusion (vladmandic/automatic). Important: hipconfig --version
did not work initially, I had to reboot my computer to complete the installation (logging out may be enough).
Having a Polaris rx580 I solved the problem with the advice of @nho1ix downgrading. Thank you
@nho1ix thank you so much!
@dreieck I'm not sure it's possible since that would also conflict with opencl-amd-dev
package. I will check it out when I have more time available. Maybe we can move all conflicts from opencl-amd-dev
in this package and let that array empty.

@nho1ix I've pinned your comment just in case other people have the same problem.

Note for anyone who has a Polaris GPU (Radeon RX 5xx) debugging issues with this package; Packages that use OpenCL like clinfo or davinci-resolve-studio will need you to downgrade opencl-amd to 1:5.7.1-1 as well as amdgpu-pro-oglp to 23.10_1620044-1 to avoid coredumps & segfaults.
DVR would not open unless these 2 packages were downgraded (along with their dependencies). Had to figure it out the hard way after hours using valgrind and rebooting over and over. Hopefully someone else will not have to pull their hair out trying to resolve their issue.

Current release is for ROCm 6.1.0
opencl-amd
package includes only OpenCL / HIP runtime. You also need to use opencl-amd-dev package for ROCm LLVM compiler, OpenCL and HIP SDK. Please relog / reboot after installing so your PATH gets updatedThere are now official packages available: rocm-opencl-sdk for OpenCL and rocm-hip-sdk for HIP - You might have better luck with these packages depending on your GPU.
