Please note that when using this package, you will not be able to use the Plugin Manager but have to install plugins via the aur or compile them yourself. If you need a plugin that is not in the aur, feel free to contact me for help.

I install it today and the build was OK so thanks again Ruppor. BUT : The build failed the first time and i have to install webkit2gtk to success. This package is not in the dependencies. Is it normal ?

ruppor, thank you, I can confirm its building and running on an i7 linux arch box. (Linux Z77 5.0.13-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun May 5 18:05:41 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux)

Hi

I have incorporated the wxWidgets patch produced by software devs as described here: https://github.com/OpenCPN/OpenCPN/issues/1329

Package builds fine on my machine, I've built it twice today. Hope this fixes issues for those whose builds were failing.

Builds are still broken on Arch package manager. Errors pop up at link time with problems related to wxwidgets. I have not figured out how to alter the build files when running the package manager.. Any chance the hindsholm patch mentioned below can be done on the repository so we can move forward? Thank you guys.

I got a lot of linker errors with wxWidgets, but they could be solved by the patch mentioned in this issue: https://github.com/OpenCPN/OpenCPN/issues/1329

I tried to build in a clean chroot ang got the same error ?
