I had problems with the Python bindings. Adding “-DOPENMESH_PYTHON_VERSION=3.5” (seems to be set to 2.7 by default) to CMake and “mv ${pkgdir}/usr/lib/python ${pkgdir}/usr/lib/python3.5” (hardcoded to lib/python) to “package()” made “import openmesh” work on my machine. Maybe there is a better way :).

And new version 6.1, btw :).

thanks for the hint, updated it to 5.0

oaheix commented on 2015-11-24 14:18

Hey, 5.0 is released. :)

Hey thanks for the feedback, I updated the package accordingly.

xantares commented on 2015-02-16 08:16

hello,

- these lines are useless as libOpenMesh*.so are installed into /usr/lib:
# add openmesh library path to ld.so.conf
install -d -m755 "$pkgdir/etc/ld.so.conf.d/"
echo "/usr/lib/OpenMesh" > "$pkgdir/etc/ld.so.conf.d/openmesh.conf"
- you could install src/OpenMesh-3.3/LICENSE/* instead of the 4 license lines.

I updated the package to 3.2 now it's working again.

disowning because I don't use this anymore

The source package URL is no longer valid (I think due to changes to the OpenMesh website). This is also the reason why the hash check fails; the downloaded file is actually a (404) HTML file. The new URL (for the 3.1 version) is

http://www.openmesh.org/media/Releases/3.1/OpenMesh-3.1.tar.bz2

oaheix commented on 2014-05-22 11:10

Md5sum checking error:

==> Validating source files with md5sums...
openmesh-3.0.tar.bz2 ... FAILED

Also, 3.1 is out.

Updated to 2.3.1

jynnantonix commented on 2012-12-14 20:33

@nakednous @sftrytry

Thanks, fixed. The documentation patch is needed because of a bug in the upstream CMakeLists.txt where the docs don't get installed the first time the package is built. I've updated the PKGBUILD so you shouldn't get that error anymore.

nakednous commented on 2012-12-14 14:26

sames as @sftrytry

sftrytry commented on 2012-12-03 16:16

I have comment out the doc patch in PKGBUILD to make it work.

sftrytry commented on 2012-12-03 16:11

I got the error
"
CMake Error at Doc/cmake_install.cmake:36 (FILE):
file INSTALL cannot find
"/home/jesse/AUR/openmesh/src/build/Build/share/OpenMesh/Doc/html".
Call Stack (most recent call first):
cmake_install.cmake:41 (INCLUDE)
"
Did I miss anything?

Updated with version 2.3. Now also builds and installs documentation

jynnantonix commented on 2012-10-12 01:44

Updated with version 2.2 [1]. Currently doesn't build documentation and I'm not planning on putting it in unless someone really wants it.

You should change "i386" to "i686" in PKGBUILD

Updated to 2.0.1 (now builds with gcc 4.6)

Updated to version 2.0 stable release.

I have added 'qt' to "optdepends" and "makedepends" and removed it from "depends". I have also added 'doxygen' to "makedepends".

Kniyl commented on 2011-01-14 16:19

Qt should not be considered as a depend but as an optdepend.

Not having Qt is exactly the same than setting -DBUILD_APPS=OFF in cmake options.

Moreover, Doxygen is also searched by cmake. So it may also be added as optdepend.
