Ok, I see that confiugure tells me, configure: error: The ft2232 driver is deprecated, use --enable-ftdi to build its replacement, or force the old driver with --enable-legacy-ft2232_libftdi Is there any reason to use legacy and not just --enable-ftdi?

@rami, what supercedes that driver since it is legacy now?

In PKGBUILD: --enable-ft2232_libftdi has to be replaced by --enable-legacy-ft2232_libftdi

@djvinz: I have instead removed most of the _features list, and moved the 'depends' to 'optdepends'. Some of the features were outdated anyway. Since pacman does not allow choosing optional dependencies before installation, this will most probably require downloading the package source and building locally after reviewing the available features. Vanilla ./configure autodetection is used. Actually, I only needed this package once a long time ago, so if anyone wishes to maintain it, I'd be happy to disown. For a package with all features enabled by default, I'd recommend making a new one (something like `openocd-git-all`, similar to the already-present `openocd-git-libftdi`).

this would having to add hidapi as a dependency, so I could see why you wouldn't add this by default...

This package makedepends on libtool and autoconf which are missing from pkgbuild :)
