You should be good now.

Okay, I appreciate you putting in what I asked. However, do you think you can make a systemd unit file for the robust daemon too? Thanks.

Schala commented on 2013-11-07 04:03

Awesome thanks

GordonGR commented on 2013-11-06 18:51

Sure. I'll see to it over the weekend.

Schala commented on 2013-11-05 11:07

One more thing, if you could have a shell script to execute Robust.exe too, that'd be great.

Schala commented on 2013-11-05 09:09

Also, please remove *.dylib files. These are for Mac

Schala commented on 2013-11-05 09:04

Could you add a systemd module for this? It'd be convenient to daemonise it with systemd.

In fact, you've deleted the whole lib64/ directory, which I'm sure it's not the way to go! In my computer, the package builds and runs perfectly. Perhaps something went wrong with your build? I recommend rebuilding the package itself. If you download the binary from upstream, does it work without this error message?

farvardin commented on 2012-06-02 10:47

(it will only work for x86 but I added at the end of the pkgbuild: rm -fr "$pkgdir"/opt/opensimulator/bin/lib64/)

farvardin commented on 2012-06-02 10:39

I got an error: "strip:./opt/opensimulator/bin/lib64/libsqlite3_64.so: File format not recognized" (running it on a x86 distribution), so I had to manually remove this file to avoid the error.

No problem. Looks like she'll have good company in her new home :)

>>> The example OpenSim configuration is set up on initial install, modified to use a quick start standalone architecture.

cd /opt/opensimulator/bin/config-include/
cp StandaloneCommon.ini.example StandaloneCommon.ini

Needed to complete the set up for standalone arquitecture.

Updated. Thanks for the helpful comments.

Regarding MySQL, Enverex, that's what I'm using. I had to muddle through at setup (I use other DBs usually), but all issues were resolved for me by configuration, and almost all of that at the MySQL end.

ZauberParacelsus commented on 2011-08-30 15:29

Probably more of an issue with OpenSimulator being a POS

Enverex commented on 2011-08-30 14:56

SQLite seems to work fine (using current Mono, not the legacy package), but using MySQL fails claiming the connection was refused (using the correct credentials obviously). Is this another known issue with Mono?

TheOldFellow commented on 2011-08-04 14:48

This build fails on pure x86 machines, as libsqlite3_64.so is not deleted before strip. The MAKEPKG needs to be edited to look for "*_64.so", not "*x86_64.so".

P.S. OpenSim 0.6.9 works with SQLite + mono-2.6.4-2 (the current mono version in Arch Linux, i.e., no need to install 'old-mono').
