Thanks, I updated the package to my branch openssl-1.0-fix-keyexchange and cleaned up a bit. Will update to the later versions as soon as I get confirmation that they work as expected.

There is already a patchset against openssl-1.1... I was trying to take the entire patch list by Fedora and apply that here, but I was running into issues and out of time. @christoph.gysin if you want to take this PKGBUILD over please feel free to do so.

I have made some effort updating this package:

The different branches are different versions of the package:

- openssl-1.0: depend on and build against openssl-1.0
- openssl-1.0-fix-keyexchange: same as above, plus the fix mentioned by @mmrezaie
- openssh-7.5p1+openssl-1.0: updated to openssh-7.5p1
- openssh-7.5p1: ported to openssl-1.1

Feel free to test these and provide feedback using github issues or by email.

Is this package still functional (mainly for SSH over Kerberos)? Can it still be updated?

mmrezaie commented on 2016-10-19 13:18

This package is not working at least with kerberos authentication. I shared the issue and there is a solution for it. You may check it out in here: It works since I checked it myself.

Done with rev 3.
Thanks jadelord :)

Please change as follows:
Provides: openssh-7.1p1 -> openssh
i.e. in PKGBUILD provides=(${_pkgname})

If not openssh dependencies such as mpich, sshfs, package do not permit uninstallation of the original package.
