@Breizh Thanks for the update, seems that is fixed with the new commits.

@acerix don’t know about you, but erdgeist answered me, and it’s seems to be fix. I rebuilded the two versions (v4 and v6) on the last commit and I can’t reproduce the crashes now.

@Breizh Thanks for all the info. I tried your previous suggestion of listening on a specific IP instead of
[::]
and that prevents most crashing. If the earlier version is more stable that may be a better option for now, I don't know enough c++ to diagnose the problem myself but could update this package to use the earlier version if that works better for IPv6. I had suspected this was an issue from the recent commits and also wrote the author. I'm sorry if that error in the backup config lost any of your work, should be fixed now.Breizh commented on 2021-05-07 22:10 (UTC)
The backup line of the PKGBUILD is failed, you forgot -ipv6 in the folder name, so it reset the configuration on update/reinstall.

Ok, the problem is in the lasts commits, by rebuilding the IPv4 version in 2021.04.25 I got the same crashes. I set the 2018.05.26 commit (6411f1567f64248b0d145493c2e61004d2822623) in the PKGBUILD, and now everything work fine in both IPv4 and IPv6.
(On the latest versions listening on a specific address instead of all interfaces by default reduce the crashes, but you can still have some)
I contacted the opentracker’s author about this problem.

Thanks a lot for this package. I confirm the crashes problems.

It seems opentracker has some issues with IPv6, the daemon frequently crashes with "realloc()" or "free()" errors.
