For graphics, sound, and music packs you can either install the optional packages, which will create symlinks from openttd to openttd-jgrpp, or run the game and it will prompt to download opengfx on first run. opensfx and openmsx can then be downloaded in game via the "Check Online Content" button.

If after a system update (especially the icu package) the game fails to launch make sure you've tried to rebuild the package before reporting issues.

Feel free to add willing volunteers as comaintainers. Myself, as well as @fumantsu below, would love to attempt a fix.

I can try to solve it. The tags list has been moved to different website (cdn.openttd.org) and now it is a yaml file called latest

This package is still broken and I'm not sure how to fix it. I'm working on it whenever I have spare time. Please use openttd-jgrpp instead for now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I just noticed that this package will no longer build as is, because 'finger.openttd.org' has been shut down; therefore 'tags.txt' is unavailable. This discussion https://github.com/OpenTTD/website/issues/48 explains what's going on, but I don't have enough background to understand what how to fix the package.

Not sure why someone had flagged this out of date... It's a live git package, it always installs the newest revision from the master branch of the git repo (and still worked fine with current master). I just bumped the package version again for good measure, but that doesn't affect what it installs. If the package doesn't work for everyone, please post a comment so I can investigate.

@noosxe This was caused by an upstream change affecting "make install"; I've adapted the package() function so it works again. If you (or your AUR helper) haven't deleted the PKGBUILD dir yet, you don't even have to rebuild it, just run `makepkg -fi --repackage` in that directory.
