Upstream as in OpenVAS, not Arch. Arch will package what upstream provides.

I've tried getting these upstreamed, but no one upstream wants to do it.

Its been two years since I opened the original bug and no dice.

why not try to upstream missing systemd unit files to the developers? Thats where it would make sense! also FFS what the hell does a tar.gz does inside the repo? Extract it and upload the service files plain one by one!

Cannot be installed becuase /usr/lib/systemd/system/openvas-scanner.service already exists in filesystem (installed by openvas-scanner).

Uploading a tar.gz is a lousy way of doing this, could even be enough to get this deleted.
