Gtk3 is missing dependency for opera-developer >=46.0.2602.0-1, because of this error: $ opera-developer /usr/lib/opera-developer/opera-developer: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Just a note for v40.0.2280.0. There's a bug where you'll receive a seg. fault if you have the '#power-save-mode' flag/s disabled via opera://flags. Enabling the power related flags fixed the issue for me.

Works in opera-beta, so looks like anything is broken. Wait for the next version and cross your fingers...

So after restarting the system all worked as expected. Thanks for your quick reaction :) I have a more serious issues, some videos cannot be played from the browser, such as: https://twitter.com/race_capture/status/670242335003840512 Installed opera-developer-ffmpeg-codecs.

The package installs a desktop file: /usr/share/applications/opera-developer.desktop If your DE can read these files opera-developer should show up in menu. The application itself provides the icons for task switcher, so this is nothing I can influence.

I would have two notes, so I have no start menu integration (is that normal?) and the icon looks very pixelated in the ALT+TAB window.
