What is the difference between this package and https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/opera-beta/ ?

For those who updated to ffmpeg 2.4.1 I've created this AUR script http://pastebin.com/5kG7az0s which build ffmpeg 2.3.3 that is required for Opera's HTML5 support. Just unpack lib folder of built package to /home/my-name/ffmpeg-opera and run Opera from command line with LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/home/my-name/ffmpeg-opera environment variable. Or add LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/home/my-name/ffmpeg-opera to /etc/profile file and relogin.

@eworm Opera's FTP server is extremely slow (usually takes 1-2 hours to download). Please use the official download links in the PKGBUILD instead of the download archive, as @inRocks has suggested (in my case it was a 1 minute download).

@inRocks Thanks! The download is much faster now :-D

Hi! I tried with the get.geo.opera... url from France and it is really _really_ slow. So please do not change url settings... By the way, the sha256 for the new 25.0.1597.0 version is 1bbf6661c40708e0bdef0f7647552c59f026184b85bf9fd06cdba0032238668d Cheers

I changed the url in PKGBuild for thishttp://get.geo.opera.com/pub/opera-developer/${pkgver}/linux/opera-developer_${pkgver}_amd64.deb for faster download

It's really strange: If I create a new profile and change some options of Opera, the HTML5 support for YouTube of H.264 (without MSE) and VP8 are changing from allowed to not allowed. I have try it several times and each time (with new profile) the HTML5 support for YouTube is changing after change some options. But it doesn't matter which options I change. Maybe, some users here can reproduce this: Please create a new profile and open https://www.youtube.com/html5 You should see alle HTML5 options ar5e allowed. Now change some options of Opera and look to the HTML5 page of YouTube. Can anyone reproduce it?

Thanks Ilya, after deactivating flash, HTML5 is working. But with Flash is HTML5 not working. With activate Flash, on https://www.youtube.com/html5 MSE+H.264, MSE+VP9 options are allowed and H.264 (without MSE) and VP8 are not allowed. But with deactivate Flash all HTML5 options are allowed. I think, this is really strange?! Is this normal?
