@VIRGO77 Interestingly, the opera-gx-bin package (that was suddenly removed today) did not have the issues with Twitch and YouTube live streams. I've switched back to this package, and the issue still persists with the new version.

EDIT: Also installing opera-gx-stable-ffmpeg-codecs-bin fixes the problem.

@67mustard41 I recommend including opera-gx-stable-ffmpeg-codecs-bin if possible.

@Razwerkz: about error #4000on Twitch, I searched about this error code, and it's a codec issue that Opera-GX does not include in its package. If I've read correctly on this XDA-DEV topic: https://www.xda-developers.com/opera-gx-linux-flaw/

And it seems that a FlatPak is on its way too :)

So we just have to Wait&See! :D

@ghxst.me I had wondered why opera-gx vanished! Yours was up to v128, but this one is still at v127.

Also, I had the same issue with video streams in that version. Honestly, I hope they get the Flatpak version out soon.

I don't see why they filed a deletion for my AUR, opera-gx, when it was up-to-date with autoupdation(repkgs deb from download link) when this is clearly not up-to-date. good job making it before i made mine tho lmao

It seems that the current AUR release (127.0.5778.75) is incompatible with Twitch and YouTube live streams, possibly other live streams as well.

Twitch: This video is either unavailable or not supported in this browser. (Error #4000)

YouTube: An error occured. Please try again later. (Playback ID: <varies with different streams>)

Anyone know of a work-around, in the meantime?

Besides the outdated version, it would also be worth integrating the nwjs-ffmpeg-prebuilt package into the build by default, since without it many streaming websites do not work at all. Similarly to the "Opera" package, where it is already bundled by default.
