First of all, thank you to the package developers. I have been using this OrcaSlicer (OrS) package for months, mostly without issue. I have one Bambu printer and several Klipper printers. Having the Bambu machine means that I install the Bambu network plugin (BNP).

OrcaSlicer recently asked me to update the BNP. I said yes. After that OrS segfaults every time I open it. I removed and reinstalled the package. It still crashed. I removed the package and deleted the ~/.config/OrcaSlicer directory. After that I reinstalled the package.

After deleting the config directory OrS worked until I loaded the BNP and logged into my Bambu account. I removed the orca-slicer-bin package and installed the orca-slicer (not -bin) AUR package and got the same results. The program would work as long as I didn't install BNP.

Bambu Studio (bambu-studio-git) works fine on my machine. I deleted my ~/.config/OrcaSlicer and ~/.cache/OrcaSlicer directories and tried again. No change.

@cvelteren, no, I am not going to update to beta versions. As far as I am aware, beta versions have to be in separate package named like orca-slicer-bin-beta. If you want to install beta version, feel free to change version yourself or create separate package for unstable versions.

@pbcrunch, if you compare bambustudio-bin PKGBUILD with this package PKGBUILD you would find that it is basically the same. It has absolutely identical dependencies, and they both download .AppImage, extract it and place files in directories. It seems that this package is not the problem. Did you try to download OrcaSlicer's AppImage and launch it? Does it crash? Or maybe try to clean config and cache files. I hope this would help.

This package is fully broken on my system. It segfaults and crashes on startup.

If I use the 'WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 orca-slicer' command suggested below I can actually see something that looks like a workable window, but it crashes soon afterward.

The bambu-slicer-bin package works fine on my system other than the video preview. That always crashes Bambu Studio.

I had to run it with 

WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 orca-slicer

due to the same bug that causes gnome settings online accounts google link web frame to appear blank

However orcaslicer does still segfault, but bambustudio works

Clean chroot on build server, build succeeds, but program won't run.

Crashes with SEGV for me during start-up. I see the window and the annoying "Unsupported result type" JS errors, and then it's gone. Prob an upstream issue...

harmonyos-sans-git is broken right now, recommend switching to ttf-harmonyos-sans
