Should be fixed now :)

rado commented on 2015-03-02 20:14

Thanks, but I think it can't help (and it really doesn't) because it complains at git line (I think), which is before waf. But thanks anyway, I'll wait for upgrade - I see you taged it as out of date.

drahnr commented on 2015-03-01 22:19

I can't test this since I do not have an archbox anymore.

Make sure you also replace all `waf` by `./waf`

rado commented on 2015-03-01 22:02

Yes, but I already did that :) - I replaced v0.83.1 with v0.83.3 at pkgver and git checkout lines and am getting that error (...did not match any file(s) known to git). I just asked, because I wasn't sure if by bumping you mean changing ver number (as english isn't my mother toungue). Am I missing something, or? :)

drahnr commented on 2015-03-01 14:26

Replace any reference to v0.83.1 with v0.83.3

Next time try that if you already suspect something is needed in addition. It's not rocket science ;)

rado commented on 2015-03-01 14:24

Thanks but didn't work - it says: error: pathspec 'v0.83.3' did not match any file(s) known to git. Or what should I change? pkgver and git checkout? Thanks.

drahnr commented on 2015-03-01 09:18

Just bump the version to 0.83.3 in the PKGBUILD, all those issues are fixed there.

rado commented on 2015-03-01 09:16

Hi all, same problem here: Redundant -c flag in intltool task bld(_name='oregano.desktop', features=['intltool_in'], podir='../po', posted=True, path=/home/rado/AURbuild/oregano/oregano/src/oregano/data, mappings={}, target='oregano.desktop', install_path='${DATADIR}/applications', flags=['-d', '-q', '-u', '-c'], meths=['process_rule', 'apply_intltool_in_f'], source='oregano.desktop.in', prec=defaultdict(<class 'list'>, {}), idx=1) in /home/rado/AURbuild/oregano/oregano/src/oregano/data

Where exactly should I change waf to ./waf? In package() and build()? When I do this, it says: /home/rado/AURbuild/oregano/oregano/PKGBUILD: line 23: ./waf: No such file or directory - which is correct, I think...

Waf is installed from aur.

Didn't try to remove -c from flags.

If you need more info, just say.

Thanks in advnace.

Yaro commented on 2014-11-21 19:53

drahnr: Can you clarify that? I changed waf to ./waf and just get the error below.

/tmp/yaourt-tmp-conrad/aur-oregano/./PKGBUILD: line 23: ./waf: No such file or directory

drahnr commented on 2014-11-12 20:09

Tagged as "v0.83.1.1"

drahnr commented on 2014-11-12 20:09

goakley: Added the waf binary as a stable update under branch `stable-v0.83.1`, just use "./waf" instead of "waf" in the PKGBUILD and everything should be fine.

goakley commented on 2014-11-11 16:34

snork: I'll look into this and have a fix soon.

snork commented on 2014-11-08 22:31

I've got problems with building
Redundant -c flag in intltool task bld(prec=defaultdict(<class 'list'>, {}), meths=['process_rule', 'apply_intltool_in_f'], install_path='${DATADIR}/applications', flags=['-d', '-q', '-u', '-c'], _name='oregano.desktop', features=['intltool_in'], source='oregano.desktop.in', path=/tmp/yaourt-tmp-snork/aur-oregano/src/oregano/data, idx=1, mappings={}, target='oregano.desktop', posted=True, podir='../po') in /tmp/yaourt-tmp-snork/aur-oregano/src/oregano/data

If I replace lines
flags = ["-d", "-q", "-u", "-c"],
with
flags = ["-d", "-q", "-u"]
in file aur-oregano/src/oregano/data/wscript, everything compiles fine.

What are that flag -c stands for?
waf version is 1.8.2 (30fb9699ef89341f3eeef3fd600539b9b41b61c2)

Blake-R commented on 2014-02-19 16:11

to goakley: execution `sudo waf` before install oregano helps me.

goakley commented on 2014-01-04 17:30

Can someone who is getting the `/usr/bin/.waf` error give some context around the message? I find no reference to that directory anytime during build (which ends up successful), so whatever you can provide is helpful.

drahnr commented on 2014-01-04 15:50

I just tried it, and at least for mit it works (waf 1.7.14). Not sure what is going on, I'd need some more information.

dbrgn commented on 2014-01-04 15:44

Same issue here as rd1381.

rd1381 commented on 2013-11-11 14:00

i get this error
Error: Cannot unpack waf lib into /usr/bin/.waf-1.7.13-8c328f55ac27cdb03b8c949f189bbac3

ska commented on 2013-09-20 14:58

intltool seems to be an additional build dependency

drahnr commented on 2013-08-28 10:15

v0.83.1 is ready

goakley commented on 2013-06-11 02:16

Well, it was just created, so there's that!

drahnr commented on 2013-06-10 15:49

Ah, didn't see/know about the oregano-git package. That's perfect, thanks a lot again.

goakley commented on 2013-06-10 15:29

I've made this package specific to the most recent v0.83 release git tag. There's also an oregano-git package (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/oregano-git/) that pulls from master and builds as debug instead of release.

drahnr commented on 2013-06-10 12:35

It is actually 0.8.3.0 and it would be nice if you did a 'debug' build for the near future - this is mainly because the internals are being bent to a sane state and bugreports tend to be better with a full stacktrace.

For the matter of completeness, oregano's bugtracker is here https://github.com/drahnr/oregano/issues?state=open

The requirments are correct, as this is the gtk2 based version. Marc Lorber (at github) did port it to gtk3. I will disown this package, as I currently to not have time to get into this and do it properly.

TheStochasticMan commented on 2012-09-24 20:34

The gtksourceview dependency is not in any of the repos... shouldn't it be gtksource view3?
The deps on the git page are listed as libgtksourceview3.0, goocanvas-2.0 & libxml2 (from: https://github.com/marc-lorber/oregano#readme)

Didn't know somone picked it up, just pushed it to gitorious. I will see what changes between 0.69.1-1 and 0.73 were done and change the pkg according. Thanks for noting!

I don't know enough about oregano to know if it is the official oregano at a new home, or if someone has picked up a dead project, but marc-lorber's branch at https://github.com/marc-lorber/oregano seems to be very active and is up to version 0.73 at https://github.com/marc-lorber/oregano/tags . It looks like Debian has switched to using this source for their oregano package in testing and unstable (http://packages.qa.debian.org/o/oregano.html), so I think it's fair to follow suit and treat it as a newer oregano. Looks like you can download the latest release version as a tarball at https://github.com/marc-lorber/oregano/tarball/v0.73

Just for all the flaggers: this is the _latest_ version of oregano available

drahnr commented on 2011-09-01 09:44

I spawned the cinnamon project, but unforunatly I had no time to get into the source of oregano (yet).

Anonymous comment on 2011-09-01 08:20

oregano is unmaintained since 2006 (source: cinnamon's website)

drahnr commented on 2011-05-11 10:49

Though it now has a new home it is still very buggy and I suggest to useit with gnucap only as ngspice crashes almost any time.
