I don't know enough about oregano to know if it is the official oregano at a new home, or if someone has picked up a dead project, but marc-lorber's branch at https://github.com/marc-lorber/oregano seems to be very active and is up to version 0.73 at https://github.com/marc-lorber/oregano/tags . It looks like Debian has switched to using this source for their oregano package in testing and unstable (http://packages.qa.debian.org/o/oregano.html), so I think it's fair to follow suit and treat it as a newer oregano. Looks like you can download the latest release version as a tarball at https://github.com/marc-lorber/oregano/tarball/v0.73

Just for all the flaggers: this is the _latest_ version of oregano available

I spawned the cinnamon project, but unforunatly I had no time to get into the source of oregano (yet).

oregano is unmaintained since 2006 (source: cinnamon's website)

Though it now has a new home it is still very buggy and I suggest to useit with gnucap only as ngspice crashes almost any time.

Can't bump waf to 2.0.12 myself yet, so you need to do it yourself (just remove line that installs building-waf.md and bump) or revert last commit of this package
