@qwertypoke I am aware of the update, but until now I am unable to compile it with Learning support (-DOTBGroup_Learning=ON).

Could you please try the following PKGBUILD and tell me if it works for you? thanks!

PS. I am updating this so that it works with 8.1.2 for now...

The upstream version has been updated to 9.0.0 on 28/2 (The download path to 8.1.2 is also broken as the old version has been moved to the archives-directory).

The 'otb' page pointed to by the upstream URL was last updated in 2008. I suggest that you please kindly change it to the main website landing page:

Considering the last comments on shark-ml-git, I removed the dependency from the package.

It could, if you fork it and take over maintainership of the code.

Right now, it's severely broken, with many unfixed issues.

And meanwhile it just breaks this package as well.

Shark-ML is unmaintained since 2019. Its developer not only ran out of funding for that work after his PhD, but he also suffers from burnout so he honestly admitted he does not have the capacity anymore to work on that project.

Furthermore, please remove the discontinued and unmaintained agg renderer dependency. OTB dropped support for Mapnik and AGG in Dec 2018.

Also please remove the broken and unneeded ossim dependency: project has removed support for it in September 2021.

Please kindly remove the unneeded, broken shark-ml-git dependency.

This PKGBUILD disables support for it via CMake -DOTB_USE_SHARK=OFF flag.
