@mludwig check this PKGBUILD. It downloads the latest OTB version from git. libkml is disabled, however this is not the only issue with OTB right now, since the official release needs to be updated to be compatible with ITK-5.0 as well

@Fenrihr or anyone else Could you please provide information on how you manually installed libkml to get OTB up and running

Please switch from python2 to python3 and from qt4 to qt5 as advise here : https://github.com/orfeotoolbox/OTB/pull/27

Both 'libkml' dependency fails to build: "fatal error: minizip/crypt.h not found" or minizip fails to compile.

I successed with a installation manually building 'libkml' from this branch https://github.com/libkml/libkml/tree/synced_upstream

@geosam: I applogize for the late response, but I was travelling quite a lot hte last weeks. Could you please provide the patched PKGBUILDs again?

After building insight-toolkit with the patched version provided by @geosam on that package aut-page, liblas dependency also fails:

Build fails because insight-toolkit fails to build. The patch mentioned by @baranator is already applied (you can check the source and compare the file with his link, every line of the patch is already there).

Gonna report it on the broken package too, but I thought to come here first since the same problem has already happened before.

@ArArgyridis please update the version with mapla, iceViewe, Monteverdi Applications with https://hastebin.com/duvaxutopi.bash or https://ghostbin.com/paste/qvv8o

Delete monteverdi and otb-ice

@ArArgyridis the compilation works correctly with OSSIM 2.1.0, available through the non-official ArchGeoTux repository:

@ArArgyridis

I've recompiled ossim (even v2.2.1) and the build still fails with the same error.

BTW: I'm compiling in a clean chroot, but with manually installed ossim.

May you please upload your binary package to any hoster?
