error: failed to retrieve latest dev sources: ... ... ... pkgver could not be empty
JulianXhokaxhiu commented on 2019-01-22 20:55 (UTC)
To anyone mentioning that pkgver
is empty, I am not sure what are you talking about. On my side it works just fine, and here ( https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=oscam-git#n7 ) it is declared.
Please stop flagging the package for no reason.

Hi @zofiel, the package works fine on my side. If you could post any log, would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

@JulianXhokaxhiu Thanks for the fix. :)

Thank you for the information. I found some time to work on it and I fixed it for now, by just disabling the impacted DB2COM card reader, everything else is there as always.
You can now safely build the latest trunk :)

Only builds for me when using: source=("$pkgname::svn+<http://www.streamboard.tv/svn/oscam/trunk#revision=11428>"
and change pkgver=11428
. Think this is an error upstream.

@JulianXhokaxhiu Maybe this should be merged with oscam-svn, this package seems newer and it also applies the 'systemd way'. :)
Thanks for the update!

Moved to the SVN repo. I was using oscam.cc as it was a git mirror and it was extremely valid.
The unfortunate part is that now the naming is misleading. Is called -git
but is using SVN. Anyway, the package is tested and everything is working fine :) Enjoy!
