I reclaimed this package and I updated it with qt4.

Updated and disowned, (do not want to maintain it)

Hello, you need to patch the sources 'cause porting to gcc 4.7.
http://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-4.7/porting_to.html

Only Joystick.cpp needs a patch, therefore, by example here in a qt4.7.patch:

--- Osmose-0-9-96-QT/Joystick.cpp.orig 2013-02-15 20:15:28.106237185 +0100
+++ Osmose-0-9-96-QT/Joystick.cpp 2013-02-15 20:16:08.839571776 +0100
@@ -33,6 +33,7 @@
*/

#include "Joystick.h"
+#include <unistd.h>

/**
* Constructor. Throw an exception in case of failure.

Add this patch to your PKGBUILD build, please (by example with "patch -Np1 -i ../gcc4.7.patch" before the qmake in the build function).

I found some issues with your tarball. AUR guidelines suggest to not include binaries. This includes:
osmose/osmose.png
"Just an icon" you say, but maybe you should ask upstream to include it. Thank you.

Sorry, but i cannot reproduce the problem!

Related to the make error, i guess something must be wrong with your makepkg.conf file.
