@all please note that while yes, the package is still on 6.2.0 rather than 6.3.5, the 6.3.5 version requires an additional updater.

This doesn't seem to be too clean as an installation, and for this reason the package has not been updated. Nevertheless, it still downloads and builds correctly.

Once a standalone new version will be available, the package will be updated accordingly.

In the meanwhile, I have uploaded the osp-tracker-git package, which simply builds from github. To be honest, the new package I have made should be called osp-tracker, and the current osp-tracker renamed to osp-tracker-bin. Anyhow, if it is the latest version specifically you are after, please use that one. It is also more lightweight, as it doesn't repackage java but uses the system one.

To make the download work, I had to make the following changes to the PKGBUILD:

Changed http to https
Removed the slash, making the link: https://physlets.org/tracker/installers/Tracker-6.2.0-linux-x64-installer.run

@kouiderb, I think the issue was on my side,a s I did fix the checksum but did not update the pkgrel. Please let me know if this fixes it

i'm getting a ":: PKGBUILD up to date, Skipping (1/0): osp-tracker" message from yay, the version it's trying to install is 6.1.1-2 and only "Tracker-6.1.1-linux-64bit-installer.run" is failing the validity test.

@kouiderb, that's weird, on mine it verifies correctly. If downloading again does not help, can you please check that the PKGBUILD you're using is up to date? Please let me know

I'm getting the following error with the latest update (the main installer isn't passing the validation test for some reason)

==> Validating source files with sha256sums... Tracker-6.1.1-linux-64bit-installer.run ... FAILED tracker.sh ... Passed tracker.desktop ... Passed ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! -> error downloading sources: osp-tracker context: exit status 1

As I'm not actively using the package anymore, I'm looking for someone else to maintain it. Until then, I will remain as primary maintainer, but updates will be slow
