Hello stativ, thanks for maintaining ossec packages. I was wondering if you could add a restart command to the service file.

stativ: I can't find them either. Odd. Their setup doesn't seem very clear or organized. Thanks for looking into it.

archaurwiki: I can't find any file signatures for the release tarballs. Maybe only their binary packages are signed?

Hello stativ, I'm surprised that GPG hasn't already been implemented into all ossec-* PKGBUILD's. From : "Before you install any package from our project, we recommend that you verify it using our PGP key." Can you please implement GPG checking into all ossec-* packages? Thank you.

Would you mind to add a systemd .service file to your package?

Sure! Take your time, no rush.

I'll update it when I have more time – right now I need to finish a school project.

New, updated, PKGBUILD is out! * generated rules should be correct now (thanks to somebody who pointed that out before the comments on AUR were lost) * it is possible to change some of the settings in the config file (eg. e-mail notification) * startup script is now colored (thanks Yorokobi)
