PKGBUILD is still broken. This patch fixes it:

osu-lazer has updated to Net3.0 and has broke the PKGBUILD

If the package is built from binary, I think the package name should end with -bin.

I see.

That sounds OK, but just keep in mind that at some point in the near future source builds will lose online functionality as we begin to secure the backend for larger user intake.

osu-deploy should only be run at our end, so it's not valid for the repo to use that. May be fine as-is as long as it is clearly stated that this package is intended for development purposes only.

packages that end with -git are usually directly built from source.

How about keep this package as it is and use osu-lazer package for binary releases just like how other packages do?

Generally packages are not removed due to compatibility reasons. However if you or a member of the osu! team would like, you could take over maintenance of this package.

I wasn't previously aware of the existence of osu-deploy, it will likely take some time to change the current PKGBUILD to use it.

Could this please be delisted? Could those responsible for making this happen please correctly add deployment to our official means so this can be done properly?

This should be using published binary releases as other platforms are.

Thanks, I updated the PKGBUILD.

The issue with libbass and libbass_fx was fixed in osu-framework: https://github.com/ppy/osu-framework/issues/2189

It is now included in osu: https://github.com/ppy/osu/pull/4435

I updated and cleaned the PKGBUILD to work with the changes: https://pastebin.com/ZtX2btDT

If you are to busy to maintain the package, I'd be happy to take over.
