ITS FIXED NOW. thank you!

i'm getting this error when i try to update to from 2007.01.r8.g4433d3de-1 to 2008.25.r1.gc6492c66-1

In pkgver(),

git describe --long --tags | sed 's/^v//;s/\([^-]*-g\)/r\1/;s/-/./g'

Maybe better, because it's using the most recent un-annotated tag.
