@solatis What's broken?

Seems this package is still broken, can anyone fix it? Alternatively, assign a co-maintainer to fix it?

Ttf-nerd-fonts-symbols has been split into two packages and causes a make error when trying to makepkg

Alright, so patching these fonts based on their originals is a PITA.
It requires installing
font-patcher
from the nerd fonts project. That's a 2GB tarball, for a package that's just amakedepends
. It's not even currently packaged in the AUR or official repos.I've updated the package to work a bit differently:
ttf-nerd-fonts-symbols-mono
from [community].otf-operator-mono
which is the unpatched font.I like the end result a lot better - it relies on a package on community, doesn't require a huge download to patch things, and fonts render the same.
The only big difference is that you'll now need to use
OperatorMono
as a font instead ofOperatorMono Nerd Font

Yeah, sorry, I'm mostly missing the original sources on my end.
I'll try and have a look during the weekend.

And? This still has a 2+ week outstanding orphan request out against it so if something doesn't get done soon it will likely be orphaned for somebody else to try. @whynothugo your solution sounds better to me than just hooking up to some license-breaking repost out there. Go for it?

The original version of this package required that you have the original fonts and used that to patch nerd fonts.
I think I'm going to revert to that -- it's a bit more work to build, but on the safer side in terms of licensing.

@friday13 The comment below has a working link. Not sure about the legality of using this package though...
