Oh, I see: I left git in the makedepends-array when I adapted the otrtool-git PKGBUILD for this package. I uploaded a new PKGBUILD.

Thanks! Could you tell me what git is needed for? (Or post the output of make) The only place I remember using git is the part of the Makefile generating the version ("0.9" for tarballs or "0.9-0-abcdef" when building from git). But I tried to make this part run without git beeing installed.

great tool @pyropeter! i needed makedepend-git to build otrtool. it's not included in the dependency array.
