@abhinavd pod2man is provided in /usr/bin/core_perl, which should be in your path, by perl, which already is a makedep. Sorry for the trouble you had building it, you probably need to fix whatever is setting your PATH to not include /usr/bin/core_perl.

Dear @E5ten, please add pod2man as a dependency: I could not build without it.

@imran27 auracle (which pacaur uses for search results instead of cower now) doesn't provide that information in the search output like cower did.

imran27 commented on 2019-02-25 09:01 (UTC)

It doesn't show [installed] mark for aur search results if the package is installed.

I agree with @Alad in that Bash is the best programming language for a small and beautiful wrapper designed to combine AUR helpers in a way that mimics the behaviour of pacman.

Considering all the new "pacaur-in-cool-language" helpers have somehow managed to be more ill-designed and ill-implemented than pacaur and yaourt combined (an amazing feat, all things considered), I'm rooting for E5ten.

And while I haven't tried 4.8.x yet, to me it seems he's doing a good job so far.

ZSH completions works now with updated pacaur 4.8.1-1

imran27 commented on 2019-02-21 01:07 (UTC)

ZSH completions for aur packages is not working like it used to. Any fix?

Spyhawk has a point. I would not discount what he says because you think it's his ego. They are possible repercussions to consider.
