The "combined" one was removed from AUR.

Conflicts with packer-aur-combined.

Conflicts with packer-aur and packer-aur-combined.

Also, consider adding provides=("packer-aur=${pkgver}").

@gavinhungry I've requested for packer-aur to be merged into this one, as both are -git based packages. This package however changed the source to your unofficial fork, which invalidates that request. Since I believe keenerd is still upstream for this package, I suggest to either change the upstream url or contact keenerd if you want to take over maintenance upstream.

Fixed it.

This won't build properly anymore as $pkgname is "packer-aur", but the git repo clones to just "packer". I'm not sure where the proper place to fix this is (if the upstream repo will get renamed, or if the git command should clone to a packer-aur directory, or if a different "packer" name/variable should be used in place of $pkgname where appropriate).

community/packer-io will be renamed to community/packer. Please rename aur/packer and/or add conflict handling to your PKGBUILD.

This package pulls from master just like packer-git. Maybe you should request a merge and co maintain the git version? Otherwise this seems like a duplicate.

I don't think they allow any AUR helpers in official repos unfortunately.
