@Awebb - because we expect that only root can execute the file. It wont be harm (currently) if kept 755. But why relax the restrictions?

Is there a reason why /usr/share/libalpm/scripts scripts/systemd-inhibit-hook is installed as 700? anyone can see, that the package is there and look up what the file does. The other files in the scripts folder are all 755.
