Do not use – broken and discontinued by the developer or GitHub

cannot open '': empty component or misplaced '@' or '#' delimiter in name
error: command failed to execute correctly
error: failed to commit transaction (failed to run transaction hooks)

You will have to manually remove the hook from the /usr/share/libalpm/hooks/ to be able to use pacman again.
