I believe this is fixed in a commit I just pushed to the pacrepo project: https://github.com/DMBuce/pacrepo/commit/9ee5415bcc328324902b890e6ada7f86287d00f9 Please let me know if you still have issues building with -j8.

PKGBUILD needs the !makeflags option or else the package function fails with MAKEFLAGS=-j8
