Switched libpamac source to git repo vs stable release for tempfix

@LSUtigers3131 Can you update libpamac? because it won't let me install any AUR

andreasgoebel72 commented on 2022-03-23 15:07 (UTC)

@patlefort : Did you pull libpamac from gitlab manually, or did you modify the pkgbuild to pull it? The bug has been fixed some weeks ago, but I was waiting for the AUR package to use that fix.

Latest libpamac pulled from their gitlab work fine, so I suppose the problem has been fixed.

Just started segfaulting again, package needs a temporary rebase on a commit release. https://gitlab.manjaro.org/applications/pamac/-/commit/fe5ebe918439c5ad247bf82226421bb2083431a0

I was getting a segfault earlier today. Uninstalled and rebuilt and it works fine now even with AUR enabled, so I'm not sure it's a version problem.

Jhackler commented on 2022-02-23 23:32 (UTC)

current version segfaults when updating if AUR is enabled

I would argue the OoD comment is wrong because this package is not a commit-based package, but rather a release based one. Additionally, if none of the required packages need the "rel" version, we should remove it from this package. Also, here's a link to the commit that added ENABLE_FAKE_GNOME_SOFTWARE as mentioned below for helpful reference.
