GUI broken in wayland, tray icon pops but main app will not launch. Works fine x11.

pamac-manager in terminal gives

pamac-manager

I use $yay -S pamac-aur

that would do but it's a chicken/egg issue I've solved with a basic sh helper.

That being said, latest seem to update and work just fine so all issues are currently gone.

If you don't know how to reinstall from aur you can temporary use any other known tool or simply check this aur sh file https://github.com/WebReflection/archibold.io/blob/master/utils/aur and then aur libpamac-aur first and aur pamac-aur after.

This solved for me on plain ArchLinux.

The pamac project has been moved to GitHub: https://github.com/manjaro/pamac Note: pamac must be adapted to pacman v7.0.0 and libalpm v15.0.0.

pamac-aur/ libpamac-aur need updating following pacman 7,0 update - currently uninstallable and blocking any pacman updates.

@alumni, exactly, that's the issue I reported on 5/4 below. In the GUI, it looks like it's upgrading forever, but through the CLI, it crashes. I cannot use pamac-aur since. I hope it gets looked into and solved.

It seems pamac doesn't really work on non-Manjaro systems, pamac-daemon crashes while polling for the db refresh:
