The only thing to do here is to open a bug report on https://bugzilla.gnome.org/

After the update, the pan does not restart.
In scope to restart, one must delete the preferences.xml file first or the two line there, which cause the problem:
<string name='last-opened-msg' value=''/>
<string name='last-visited-group' value=''/>
If these two line are manually deleted,the program start like should be without deleting the preferences file.
But after closing, these two lines are recreated in the preferences.xml , and pan are unable to restart again.
Pls, do something... .
Thanks in advance.

Updated PKGBUILD but now pan is very very very unstable. Stay with stable pan for now -> https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pan . You've been warned.
