This build fine with repo's librest instead of AUR legacy rest

pantheon-photos/meson.build:1:0: ERROR: Unknown options: "libunity"

libhandy libportal libportal-gtk3 are needed as depends otherwise fails to build with devtools

A problem with libgexiv2 is preventing this package from building.

I don't know what you're talking about. Upstream's desktop file has an icon and the correct app name (whatever correct means). As for languages, it's english only for now. If you want to get in touch with upstream, just follow the upstream URL above, and if you want to fork, there are plenty of bazaar/launchpad tutorials out there, just google for them.

Hello alucryd I have suggested this one because the upstream one has not icon has not the correct app name and even does not has the ES name entries please patch it; if it is NOT possible please explain me how can I fork it to add these patches

Upstream's desktop file works just fine, I'm not going to start patching it, and I'm certainly not going to add every single language on the planet to it. If you want some changes, please get them accepted upstream.

lp:photos-manager does not exist this should be lp:pantheon-photos
