To solve this problem, you can do this:

1) in source 

source=("https://github.com/futpib/papeaks.git")

(just to be)

2) add the git-clone command before cd$_pkgname:

pkgver() {
    git clone https://github.com/futpib/papeaks.git
    cd $_pkgname

Pamac build on Manjaro fails with "unauthenticated git protocol on port 9418 is no longer supported."

Could this be due to this line?

source=("git://github.com/futpib/papeaks.git")

Would it help to update it to HTTPS?
