Thank you. I will also have a look. By the way. Family-wise, I am quite busy these days. If you find my response times to slow, feel free to fix the build by direct contribution. Would be much appreciated.

The webserver currently doesn't run. A patch is needed for django-2.0:

sed -i 's/from django.core.urlresolvers import reverse/from django.urls import reverse/' "${srcdir}"/${pkgname}-${pkgver}/src/documents/models.py

Then there is a further error:

File "/usr/share/webapps/paperless/src/reminders/models.py", line 6, in Reminder document = models.ForeignKey("documents.Document") TypeError: init() missing 1 required positional argument: 'on_delete'

...which I've yet to debug.

Current packages version properly installs paperless version 1.3.

ReedWood commented on 2018-04-02 18:31 (UTC)

CAVE: The updated pkgbuild for version 1.3.0 does not work. There are new python dependencies with this version of paperless which need packaging. Also, the update does not handle config files properly such that they get overwritten on update. I will rework the package and update as soon as I can. This does not promise a due date.

I updated to the new version and also to full paths in the systemd units.

I am not sure show to do the permission right. There are also more open questions, but I did not have time yet to iron them out. Suggestions are welcome.

Getting this error from systemd for both service files: Executable path is not absolute: python

Use: /usr/bin/python instead

Also the file /etc/paperless.conf and datadir are neither write nor readable since it's owned by root.
