Okay, they were related to packaging. I changed all the permission in /usr/share/papilio-designlab/hardware/tools/ and then it worked.

I got an error that cc1plus could not be found so I had to do: find /usr/share/papilio-designlab/hardware/tools/zpu/libexec/gcc/zpu-elf/3.4.2/ -type f -print0|sudo xargs -0 chmod 755 Even after that I got some permission errors with some files and I had to issue: find /usr/share/papilio-designlab/hardware/tools/zpu/zpu-elf/include/ -type f -print0|sudo xargs -0 chmod 755 find /usr/share/papilio-designlab/hardware/tools/zpu/lib/gcc/zpu-elf/3.4.2/include/ -type f -print0|sudo xargs -0 chmod 755 I think the pkgbuild should be updated a bit. Even after those I got some problems with assembler and unknown commands (that shouldn't be unknown) but I don't know if that is related to the packaging.

papilio-designlab supersedes this software.
