Thank you @pancho! I've just installed the update.

Thanks for the tip, @basileios!

I've adopted the package and implemented the requested changes. I've used v4 of the i18n patch, which fixed some issues.

Cheers!

PKGBUILD is broken.

How to fix the broken link and apply the multibyte character support patch:

source=(${url}/Par152.tar.gz ${url}/par_1.52-i18n.3.diff.gz)

md5sums=('4ccacd824171ba2c2f14fb8aba78b9bf' 'e79b448cb14323a39d817afce4847cdf')

prepare() {
    cd "$_dirname"
    patch -Np1 -i "${srcdir}/par_1.52-i18n.3.diff"
}

The sourcefiles domain was not renewed. nicemice works fine, though: http://www.nicemice.net/par/Par152.tar.gz

I think we need to host the packages else where since based on the pattern; One or the other may go down.

parnmatt commented on 2018-03-04 13:05

It seems sourcefiles isn't responding but nicemice is

Nicemice's website is down yet again ;(
I've managed to fetch it via archive.org, though: https://web.archive.org/web/20161217225116/www.nicemice.net/par/Par152.tar.gz. Might wanna change the source :)

iegubkin commented on 2017-08-06 19:34

Source has changed to:
http://www.nicemice.net/par/Par152.tar.gz
The package builds fine otherwise.

Edit PKGBUILD's source to
http://www.sourcefiles.org/Utilities/Text_Utilities/Par152.tar.gz
Nicemice's website is very much down.
