Talking to one of the Parsoid developers, they've requested that the AUR package points to a stable tag, and not HEAD.

Quote:
It looks like that's installing HEAD of git at whatever time you happen to run pacman. It might be worth asking the maintainer there to pick a stable tag, like 0.6.1 https://github.com/wikimedia/parsoid/releases

You've copied the whole git repo into the package. You can use

tar c --exclude=.git . | tar x -C "${pkgdir}/usr/share/webapps/${_pkgname}/"

instead of

cp -R . "${pkgdir}/usr/share/webapps/${_pkgname}/"

so the .git directory is not copied.

localsettings.js.example should be changed to localsettings.example.js

And it seems unnecessary to give /usr/share/webapps/parsoid to parsoid; parsoid only reads the files.

Hi, in the install file,
chown -R parsoid:parsoid /usr/share/webapps/parsoid
should be after adding the user :-)

Thank you for this package! But I'd like to run it with a dedicated user instead of nobody to avoid security issues.
