To install the package first import my PGP key:

gpg --recv-keys 06A26D531D56C42D66805049C5469996F0DF68EC

Alternatively this key can also be found on https://pujol.io/keys:

wget -qO - https://pujol.io/keys/0xc5469996f0df68ec.asc | gpg --import

@nallekarhu That's is small (now fixed in upstream) bug. Meanwhile you can import your passwords with the keepass importer: pass import keepass file.kdbx it calls the same function but without this bug.

Trying to import from keepassxc:

pass import keepassxc file.kdbx

Returns:

Password for <_io.TextIOWrapper name='file.kdbx' mode='r' encoding='utf-8'>:

I don't think this package is really out of date - this is not a git package so it should use the latest release & not build from the master branch. 2.2 is still the latest release so this shouldn't be updated until a new release is made by the upstream project.

Having trouble importing the key:

gpg --recv-keys 06A26D531D56C42D66805049C5469996F0DF68EC

times out. I have tried over a couple of days using different network connections.

gpg --keyserver https://pujol.io --recv-keys 06A26D531D56C42D66805049C5469996F0DF68EC

Results in a "General error".
